The AAU will reveal what the screening procedures will be for the 50,000-plus adults who serve as coaches and volunteers in the wake of allegations of player molestation against former AAU CEO and President Robert "Bobby" Dodd in December.

"The new AAU, which I will call it from this point forward, is going to be known for setting the gold standard when it comes to creating, maintaining and strengthening a culture of safety," AAU national spokesman Ron Sachs said Sunday. "The overarching priority of the organization is to create safe environments for youth that participate in sports and healthy activities."
