The Bounce Is Getting Higher, Wiggins, Mayes, Ennis Keep CIA Undefeated in EYBL Dallas
There's no stopping Toronto's CIA Bounce at the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League. Dallas, TX Session #3 wrapped with Bounce undefeated at 14-0.
The combination of Andrew Wiggins, Tyler Ennis and Xavier Rathan Mayes were simply too much of the AAU Basketball opposition.
Mayes (20 points, 4 rebounds) did most of the damage in the opening game against Athletes First from Oklahoma.
Andrew Wiggins rose to occasion with a monster double-double and finished with 31 points and 15 rebounds as CIA got passed Indy Spice 80-74 in the toughest contest of the session.
The victories continued to pill in as Wiggins poured 19 more points in just 20 minutes in a 71-51 route over All-Iowa Attack.
The final game saw Mayes (19 points, 3 assists) and Ennis (14 points, 3 assists), Wiggins (11 points, 8 rebounds) hit double-digits as they cruised over Tennessee Travelers 77-55.
The action moves to Oakland California, for session four, where CIA will face, Mean Streets (IL) in their opening game, followed by Boo Williams (VA) and more tough match-us against Southern Stampede (GA), Baltimore Elite (MD), Houston Hoops (TX) and wrap it up with a tough Howard Pulley team out of Minnesota.
With the exception of Southern Stampede all of the above opponents boost a record of .500% or better.
Both Mean Streets and Houston Hoops have records of 12-2.
