Canadian shooting guard Carl English (192-G-81, college: Hawaii) has agreed to terms with Cajasol Banca Civica for the upcoming season.

English spent last season with Joventut Badalona and was consistent with 15.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists before an injury limited him to only 17 games.

Before Joventut, Carl English spent one year with Caja Laboral. He helped them win ACB title with 9.3 PPG, 2.8 RPG and 1 APG for 38 games. English also averaged 8.2 ppg, 2.6 rpg and 1.1 apg for games in Euroleague. From 2007 to 2009, Carl English played for Gran Canaria.

In the past, he was a member of Zadar and VidiVici Bologna. English graduated at the University of Hawaii in 2003.

English who missed Team Canada's 2011 Euro Tour due to the same nagging injury that limited him during the season, will return to action this weekend as Canada takes on Belgium in a two game series on homesoil
