As some of the graduating stars of the national champion Carleton Ravens ponder where to go next, one of the club's past heroes is spreading the message that Canadian universities are no slouches when it comes to producing great players.



Osvaldo Jeanty has done what most basketball players in Canada have only dreamed of: built on his success in university and forged a playing career overseas.



The man known as "Oz" won all five Canadian Interuniversity Sport championship games he played in with Carleton. A two-time national player of the year, Jeanty turned his time at Carleton into a chance to live his dream of being a professional basketball player.
