Perhaps one of the under-rated factors in the development of Bargnani this season has been his ability to stay on the court without picking up fouls. So far this season he's averaging 3.5 fouls per 36 minutes. Last season it was 4.1.



That's a pretty big difference in the sense that last season the pattern often was early first foul, early second foul, sit to protect against the third, hope he could find his rhythm in the second half.



Yesterday he didn't pick up his first foul until midway through the second quarter and finished with just three for the game. By that time he was well on his way to another solid offensive performance.
