Tristan Thompson of the Cleveland Cavaliers capped off a productive first NBA season with second team All-Rookie selection.

Thompson, a Brampton Ontario native received a total of 16 votes after averaging 8.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1 block per game.

The Canadian rookie started a total of 25 games and posted his best game as pro when he notched 27 points and 12 rebounds in 105-100 win over the New Jersey Nets.
