There is no doubt Montreal is Canadian basketball hotbed, next to Toronto there's not another city that produces the similar Canadian NBA Players.

If young Canadian basketball players are looking for inspiration, they can definitely find it in Anthony and Joseph, who have something in common: they were both cut by teams when they were in Montreal.

Anthony wasn’t good enough to make the Triple-A team during his first semester at Dawson College, while Joseph was cut from the Sun Youth team in his first year of midget.

They are living proof that hard work pays off – and that a growth spurt also helps in basketball.
