Metta World Peace: "It Was Bad Timing for Mr. Harden"
“I didn’t lose it. It was bad timing for me. And physically, it was bad timing for Mr. Harden.”
Metta World Peace, came clean and explained his side of the story after dropping OKC Thunder James Harden to the floor with a warrior like elbow to the back of the dome piece. According to Mr. World Peace, Aka Ron Artest, he was just simply too excited and emotional because he managed to dunk three-times in the same game.
“I got the one dunk, which I hadn’t seen in years, over, I guess, most of the team,” World Peace said.
“The second one, I got the offensive rebound, bumped Kevin out of the way, went straight up.
“And the third one, fast break— Kevin had no chance. Bumped him out of the way, went up, dunked. And at that point, I was just way too emotional. It seemed like anger but it was a lot of passion involved.
“But it was erratic. it was erratic fire, erratic passion. It was way too much. Definitely.
“It definitely wasn’t meant to hit him how I hit him.”
