Add the Austin Peay Governors of the Ohio Valley Conference to the list of NCAA Division I teams making the trip down to Canada for an early start to NCAA season.

The Governors will fly to the Toronto/Niagara Falls area the weekend of August 17th-18th and will play three games in a five-day stretch and will return August 22nd-23rd, depending on when the exhibition schedule begins.

Based on the history, we can expect the Brock Badgers to be in the mix when the schedule gets finalized, other CIS Basketball teams could include the Toronto Blues, Ryerson Rams and maybe few OCAA teams - Humber Hawks, Sheridan Bruins.

The Governors finished the the 2011-12 NCAA Men`s Basketball campaign with a record 12-19 record, their biggest win came against the Tennessee Volunteers.
