Fort Bend Travis twin brothers Aaron and Andrew Harrison announced Thursday they will play college basketball for the University of Kentucky.

The defending NCAA champs got the nod over the other two finalists Maryland and SMU.

Kentucky coach John Calipari is known as a master recruiter. He has coached three of the last five No. 1 overall NBA draft picks. The first two picks in this year’s draft where from Kentucky and in all, six Kentucky players were drafted.

The Harrison twins are viewed as certain one-and-done players and probable NBA lottery picks.
