Out of all the Canadian Basketball players selected in the 2012 NBA Draft, Montreal's Kris Joseph was the only one who was in doubt of not making the cut. Well those doubts have been silenced as Joseph, a Montreal native showed enough to convince head coach Doc Rivers that hes worthy of a spot on the 2012-13 Celtics opening day roster. In the process, Kris Joseph has managed to inspire more Canadians to follow his steps. Back in Montreal, basketball players follow Joseph's every move and hope his success opens doors for them. Ricardo Monge, who plays for a local community college, says Joseph's work ethic is inspiring. "Of course, he's a big role model," said Monge, who plays for John Abbott College. "Everyone here in Montreal looks up to him. Once you get one big player that makes it to the league, now coaches want to come up and see more and it's like a chain."
