African champs Angola squeeze past Cameroon in OT at 2011 AfroBasket

Carlos Morais knocked down two clutch foul shots with two-seconds left in overtime to propel the ten-time African champions 84-83 over a feisty Cameroon squad and advance to the 2011 Afrobasket semi-finals in Madagascar.

Cameroon’s Parfait Bitee knocked down what looked like the game-winner – a mid-range jumper with five seconds to play, but teammate Franck Ndongo fouled Morais to send the upstart Lions packing.

Angola will now face Nigeria, while Ivory Coast will go up against Tunisia as the final four teams try to book their flight for the 2012 London Olympic Games.
