Pittsburgh adds their name to growing list of offers for 7-foot-4, Class of 2012 Sim Bhullar

7’4″ Class of 2012 prospect, Sim Bhullar, has gained an offer from another Big East Conference school. Bhullar is PBR’s #1 player in the class of 2012, and attends the Kiski School in Saltsburg, PA.

Shortly after his AAU team, Team Takeover Canada won the 16U gold bracket of the West Virginia Jam Fest, Sim got a call from our local Big East program, the University of Pittsburgh. Pitt offered Sim a scholarship, adding to a growing list of high-major schools. Sim already had an offer from West Virginia University, and he told PBR that he also has offers from Cincinnati and Washington State.

Bhullar played well for Team Takeover Canada, and has had a very productive summer. He participated in the invite only Pangos All-American Camp earlier in the summer, and has also played for his Canadian National Team, in the FIBA games. Last weekend, Bhullar participated with Basketball Stars of America 16u Nike Elite, to help them win the Pittsburgh Summer Classic.

With two more years of high school eligibility, the sky is the limit for this 7’4″ prospect. He is already listed in the top 50 in the country on most recruiting lists, and as he continues to develop, we think he could be
a top 10 prospect in the country. We will keep you posted.
