Canadian Andrew Wiggins continued to stack the hardware, this time earning his first major trophy at the highest level of the game.
For those who doubt, the moment is yet just another reminder of how wrong the doubters have been, but most importantly it’s yet a moment of clarity of the 19-year old put on a show at the 2015 NBA All-Star Weekend Rising All-Star Game.
Wiggins finished with a game-high 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting, including six dunks in 23 minutes for Team World who beat Team USA 121-112. The No. 1 Overall pick of the 2014 NBA draft added six assists and four rebounds.
Wiggins becomes the first Canadian to ever take home the NBA Rising Stars game MVP.
Wiggins also joins some elite company with his MVP award.
