The Cape Breton University Capers posted a 94-77 win over the St. Francis Xavier X-Men to win the 2010 Subway AUS Men’s Basketball Championship at Centre 200. The title was the first for the Capers since back-to-back wins in 1993-94 and 1994-95.

Jimmy Dorsey was the high man for the Capers pouring 35 points (13-19 shooting), Phillip Nkrumah almost posted back to back triple doubles (11 points 18 rebounds and 8 assists)

Jeremy Dunn’s 22 points led the way for a disappointed X-men squad who will not qualify for the CIS/ U Sports Final 8 in Ottawa. Christian Upshaw capped off a successful season with a solid game 20 points, 7 assists in 38 minutes of action.
