Groin Punches Clotheslines Dances All Part Of 2019 Pba Commissioners Cup

Terrence Jones a former NCAA champion with the Kentucky Wildcats and an 18th overall pick of the Houston Rockets’ in the 2012 NBA Draft ended-up getting brutally clotheslined in the Philippines.

Jones’ playing in the 2019 Philippines Basketball Association (PBA) Commissioner’s Cup thought he danced his way to a no call after a blatant low-blow to his opponents’ midsection.

Phoenix Fuel Masters’ Calvin Abueva who was clearly in discomfort after the hit, managed to fight-off the pain and then proceed to clock Jones across his neck dropping him to the ground.

Both players were fined P70,000 ( Philippine Piso) equivalent of 1351.77 USD for their actions.

Abueva of the Phoenix Pulse has been suspended indefinitely in addition to lewd gestures from a previous game.

Terrence Jones finished the game with 40 points to lead all-scores.
