After Warriors Drew First Blood, Santana & The King Rock Golden State In Game 2

Man it was a hot one in California last night.

First off Bay Area native and ten-time Grammy winning legend Carlos Santana ripped through the national anthem on guitar with his wife Cindy by his side beautifully.

Then the four time MVP really sang…and left the one-time one from this year with nothing left.

Even Stevens now Mr. Curry.

Your NBA series is now 1 game apiece between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers heading back home to Ohio.

LeBron James made the Oracle his own last night as he eyed a tremendous triple of 39 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists, as the Cavs beat the ‘Dubs by a bucket in a 95-93 win after overtime. This is more than an MVP. This is more than the throne. This goes beyond the reign of a King. This performance was just ‘Supernatural’ to coin a better Santana album, as ‘Bron gave us all that he is with his shorthanded team looking for a true Cavalier performance.

With no shoulder to lean on in the way of Love and Kyrie Irving finally going down on that fractured knee for the rest of the Finals after a valiant Game 1, the Cavs needed a new Big Three for G.S.W’s one. They where all about the King and some of his young men in the form of Shumpert, Smith and the ever impressing Matthew Dellavedova. Who on this occasion rose of his man-to-man marking of MVP, Stephen Curry. Exhausted after holding the hot streak to 19 points on 5-23 shooting, 2-15 from deep, five assists, six turnovers and one crucial airball. On the anniversary of the Lakers putting the role playing Tyrone Lue on Philly legend Allen Iverson and the answer putting him on his back in reply, Dellavedova was not going to let Curry step over him.

LeBron may end up being the MVP of this series if his team wins, but this Most Improved kid is the unsung MVP of this one.

Showing true grit and grind star of the future Tristan Thomas was a power in the post alongside Timothy Mozgov who is finally making a name for himself beyond being the guy Blake Griffin dunked on. All this Cav reserve was too much even for the Warriors stars like the human torch Klay Thompson, who had 34 points during his burn as his team flamed out after regulation.

Going all for one and one for all, these Cavalier musketeers are going all in and back home and LeBron James “can’t wait” to see his family of fans. Now the Californian Warriors hope they have real strength in numbers on the road again, because both teams are just 3 games each away from hitting gold in this Finals state.
