Below is a look at the Top 10 performances from Week 2 of the 2011-12 CIS Men’s Basketball campaign.

Jordan Baker – Alberta Golden Bears – CW West
Two massive wins at home against the Huskies, not necessarily the best individual performances of the week, but wins are always more important, specially against Top 5 competition.

Nov 11. vs. Saskatchewan Huskies W, 77-71: 18 Points (5/10 FG, 2/3 3FG, 6/12 FT) 4 rebounds, 4 assists
Nov 12. vs. Saskatchewan Huskies W, 74-69: 25 points (10/20 FG, 0/4 3FG, 5/8 FT) 8 rebounds, 5 assists

Chad Kok – Thompson Rivers Wolfpack – CW West
45 points at any level is nothing to sneeze at, the fifth-year senior should continue to light-up opposing teams on a weekly basis.

Nov 11. vs. Calgary Dinos W, 96-79: 19 points (6/17 FG, 1/5 3FG, 6/9 FT) 8 rebounds, 2 assists
Nov 12. vs. Lethbridge Pronghorns L, 106-93: 45 Points (13/20 FG, 6/8 3FG, 13/14 FT) 8 rebounds, 2 assists

Manny Pasquale – Laurentian Voyageurs – OUA West
The sophomore guard from Victoria, British Columbia led his Voyageurs squad to an impressive 1-1 opening weekend with two impressive performances, including a cold blooded game winning three-pointer against the Mustangs.

Nov 11. vs. Windsor Lancers, L, 86-81: 29 points (9/22 FG, 3/10 3FG, 8/8 FT) 4 rebounds, 7 assists
Nov 12. vs. Western Mustangs, W, 87-86: 29 Points (10/19 FG, 5/10 3FG, 4/6 FT) 8 rebounds, 2 assists

Daryl Cooper – Lethbridge  Pronghorns – CW East
The San Francisco California native just missed out on a triple-double against UBC Okanagan and put together another all-around performance as the surprising Pronghorns went 2-0.

Nov 11. vs. UBC Okanagan W, 88-61: 14 points (5/7 FG, 1/1 3FG, 3/5 FT) 7 rebounds, 10 assists, 3 steals
Nov 13. vs. Thompson Rivers, W, 106-93: 25 Points (7/11 FG, 0/1 3FG, 11/13 FT) 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 steals

Nathan Yu – UBC Thunderbirds – CW
Big game against mediocre competition, nevertheless it was still a worthy performance for the senior guard.

Nov 11. vs. Brandon Bobcats W, 91-55: 15 Points (5/14 FG, 2/8 3FG, 3/4 FT) 5 rebounds, 3 assists
Nov 12. vs. Regina Cougars W, 100-71: 34 points (11/19 FG, 6/11 3FG, 6/7 FT) 6 rebounds, 8 assists

Ryan Mackinnon – Victoria Vikes – CW West
The top three-pointer shooter in the country with 17 made field goals, Mackinnon is showing no signs of slowing down and neither are the Vikes.

Nov 12. vs. Regina Cougars W, 85-66: 26 points (8/17 FG, 6/12 3FG, 4/4 FT) 4 rebounds, 5 assists
Nov 13. vs. Brandon Bobcats, W, 87-76: 22 Points (8/13 FG, 5/9 3FG, 1/2 FT) 6 rebounds, 5 assists

Robbie Habib – Memorial Seahawks – AUS
Robbie Habib went bonkers in the first-game of the weekend series by scorching the Varsity Reds with a team record 20 of his 38 points in fourth-quarter. However, something tells us he would much rather have a W instead of back-to-back two-point losses.

Nov 12. vs. UNB Varsity Reds L, 88-90: 38 Points (14/23 FG, 3/4 3FG, 7/9 FT) 8 rebounds, 5 assists
Nov 13. vs. UNB Varsity Reds  L, 94-92: 27 points (10/26 FG, 1/7 3FG, 6/8 FT) 4 rebounds, 2 assists

Cam McIntyre – Waterloo Warriors- OUA West
The Warriors will go as far as Cam McIntyre takes them, fortunately for them, as long as he’s hovering around the 25-30 point mark they will stay competitive and win a few more games.

Nov 11. vs. Toronto Blues L, 93-73: 25 points (9/18 FG, 3/5 3FG, 4/5 FT) 3 rebounds, 2 assists
Nov 12. vs. Ryerson Rams, W, 96-91: 31 Points (11/22 FG, 5/11 3FG, 4/8 FT) 5 rebounds, 3 assists

Jahmal Jones – Ryerson Rams – OUA East
Performances like this week is exactly what Head Coach Roy Rana and the Rams need from Jones, hopefully they start translating into more victories.

Nov 11. vs. Laurier Golden Hawks L, 85-65: 26 Points (11/20 FG, 3/5 3FG, 5/7 FT) 8 rebounds, 5 assists
Nov 12. vs. Waterloo Warriors L, 96-91: 30 points (11/20 FG, 3/5 3FG, 5/7 FT) 5 rebounds, 4 assists

Enrico Di Loreto – Windsor Lancers – OUA West
Di Loreto was hot all weekend but was forced to shut it down early (20 minutes) against the struggling Lions.

Honorable Mentions

Jonathan Cooper- UPEI Panthers – AUS
The 6-2 guard from Toronto scored and grabbed a game-high 30 points, eleven rebounds and was instrumental in the Panthers sweep of the St.Mary’s Huskies.
