Andrew Wiggins, Canada’s “Golden Child” erupts for career best 57 points

Andrew Wiggins exploded for a career best 57 points as Huntington Prep ran all-over Marietta JV (Ohio) for an easy 111-59 win.

Wiggins shot 24-of-28 from the floor, added 13 rebounds, 4 blocked shots and 2 steals as the West Virginia based school improved to 25-2 on the season.

The maximum effort was a direct response to Sports Illustrated writer Pete Thamel who decided to take a shot at Wiggins and the entire hype around Canadian basketball.

Huntington Prep will play St. Patrick’s (NJ) at Prime Time Shootout on Feb 9th and will travel to Canada in what will be Andrew Wiggins final high school game on Canadian soil.
