Andrew Wiggins inks endorsement deal with Canadian sports drink Biosteel

The sponsorship deals keep on coming for Andrew Wiggins, the first overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft.

The Canadian phenom has inked an endorsement deal with upstart Canadian sports drink and nutrition company Biosteel. Terms of the deal were not released. Biosteel’s relationship with Wiggins dates back to 2011 when he played AAU Basketball with Toronto’s CIA Bounce and now will see Wiggins become the face of the brand as far as basketball is concerned.

Biosteel roster of sponsored athletes features Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant and Montreal Canadiens goal keeper Carey Price.

Biosteel also recently announced a multi-year partnership agreement with Canada Basketball making it the exclusive sports drink provider for the national team and seems to be aggressively pushing it’s brand towards the basketball market by recently hosting a three-day Pro Basketball camp in L.A which featured Blake Griffin (Clippers), DeAndre Jordan, Sasha Vujacic (former Laker) and more.

Currently, Wiggins has signed endorsement deals with Adidas and String guards.
