New Orleans Pelicans Canadian guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker exploded for 34 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals in 101-100 overtime victory over the Miami Heat at the 2019 NBA Summer League.

Alexander-Walker’s 34 points is the second most scored by a Canadian in a NBA Summer League game. Dylan Ennis scored 35 points in 2017.

Through three NBA Summer League games Alexander-Walker is averaging 27.6 points per game, 6.3 assists, 4 rebounds, 2.6 steals.

The win advances the new look New Orleans Pelicans (4-1) to the 2019 NBA Summer League semi-finals.
