The 2010-11 CIS Men’s Basketball national finalist Trinity Western Spartans were in mid-season form on their way to an impressive 91-88 victory over visiting NCAA D1 Santa Clara Broncos.

Kyle Coston scored 11 straight points mid-way through the fourth-quarter to break open a tightly contested and well played affair.

Coston finished with a game-high 23 points and nine rebounds to lead Trinity Western.

Silky smooth Junior Guard Kevin Foster (6-2, 219 lbs) was harassed for most of the evening but still managed 20 points for the Broncos.

Game Notes

Senior forward and Vancouver native Marc Trasolini picked an injury early in the first-quarter and didn’t return.
