Canadian point guard Naz Mitrou-Long has signed a two-way contract with the Indiana Pacers.
Mitrou-Long had an outstanding 2019 Las Vegas NBA Summer League with the Cleveland Cavaliers averaging 16.8 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
Mitrou-Long has been paying his dues since graduating from Iowa State and also signed a two-way contract with the Utah Jazz for the 2018-2019 season.
Playing for the Salt lake City Stars of the G-League, Mitrou-Long averaged just shy of 19 points per game, 4.7 rebounds and 4.8 assists — knocking down 44% of his field goals and 33% of his three-pointers.
Dual Canadian-Greek citizen, Mitrou-Long had lucrative offers from major European clubs – instead opting to stick to his goal of cracking a NBA roster full-time.
