Reigning MVP and NBA champion Steph Curry got his first ring as the Golden State Warriors were serenaded with a worthy and ring ceremony on opening night of the 2015-16 NBA season and absolutely wasted no time letting everybody know hes coming coming for “Back-Back”. As in titles and MVP Trophies.
Curry poured in a record 24 points in the first-quarter before finishing with 40 points on the night as the Golden State Warriors beat the New Orleans Pelicans 111-95.
Curry’s first-quarter shot chart says it all, 9-of-13 for a scorching 69.2 field goal percentage, including 4-of-7 from three-pointers.
