Toronto’s 7’5 Sim Bhullar named Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Freshman of the Year

7-foot-5 Toronto native Sim Bhullar of the New Mexico State Aggies has been named the top freshmen in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).

Sim Bhullar averaged 10 points per game and grabbed 6.7 rebounds while blocking 2.4 shots per game in 31 games of the New Mexico State.

The Canadian big men posted a career-highs in points – 25 in a win over Missouri St and pulled 12 rebounds against Texas Arlington.
