Coming into the 2018-2019 U Sports Men’s Basketball season many Canadian University Basketball enthusiasts were salivating at the Carleton Ravens addition of former 2015-16 Rookie of the Year Isiah Osborne.
The 6-foot-5, 190 pound guard averaged 15 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists per game before being poached by University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) Miners to the promised bright lights of NCAA division one basketball. Osborne was forced to sit-out the 2016-17 season and showed his potential in 29 games with the Miners he made 19 starts and contributed 9.9 points and 3.7 rebounds in his lone NCAA campaign.
Footage has emerged from the Carleton Ravens athletic department showcasing their teams top plays of the first-half of the season, checking in at number five is Osborne throwing down a massive one-hander against the Guelph Gryphons on December 2, 2018, the Ravens won 90-39 with Osborne having one of his better outings of the young season.
