To all the people involved in the Montreal basketball community this is a great chance to to meet and network with like minded individuals. EXECUTIVE BREAKFAST  

Starting at 7am on Friday, October 24th, the National Basketball Association (NBA), evenko and the Board of Trade of Metropolitain Montreal, are thrilled to present the first-ever NBA Canada Series Executive Breakfast — a panel discussion about the NBA’s business and marketing strategies in Montreal, and the role of social responsibility and sport in society. It will be a good opportunity to hear about NBA growth in Canada.

The panel will feature NBA Deputy Commissioner Mark Tatum, Toronto Raptors General Manager Masai Ujiri, and NBA Legend and Global Ambassador Dikembe Mutombo.

Tickets for this breakfast include the conference, a continental breakfast and the opportunity to attend the Raptors morning practice at the Bell Centre. VIP tickets are available and include a chance to meet the presenters. Tickets are available via evenko.ca.

Sports Management Worldwide to Host Basketball Career Conference at NBA D-League Showcase

Later this month the eyes of the global basketball community will shift north to Canada as the NBA Development League hosts its thirteenth annual Showcase event from the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.

But the action on the court isn’t the only game in town.

Sports Management Worldwide and Raptors 905 will be hosting a Basketball Career Conference on January 20th during the Showcase event featuring executive panels, question and answer sessions and networking events with some of the biggest names in the sport. This is a premier event for those who aspire to work in the game of basketball.

Thus is no the case for Toronto’s Phil Dixon!

Before there was Andrew Wiggins there was Phil Dixon! A once in a generation player that was primed for greatness and a potential NBA career.

Unfortunately for Dixon a terrible leg injury cut his career short ending his dreams of ever dribbling his way on to a NBA basketball court.  he video is part of Sports Chek’s new #MyNorth campaign which coincides with the start of  the Toronto Raptors 20th anniversary season.
