Toronto’s Dwight Powell was selected by the Charlotte Bobcats with the 45th overall pick and traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Powell a versatile 6-foot-11 forward from Toronto, Ontario saved his best for last, averaging 14 points and 6.9 rebounds during his senior year with the Stanford Cardinal of the Pac -12

Powell will join fellow Canadians Tristan Thompson (Brampton), Anthony Bennett (Brampton) and  Andrew Wiggins (Vaughan) in a Cavs uniform.
