BasketballBuzz CIS men’s basketball Top 25 rankings: Week 5 – Dec 4 2012

Well, well, well. We’ve reached the midway point of the season and, as expected, the defending champs go into the break as the top team.

The battle for the AUS is as tight as it gets, as two of the only three undefeated teams still remain.

Last year’s runners-up, the Alberta Bears, rose to their highest ranking of the year in Week 5 of the BasketballBuzz CIS men’s basketball Top 25 rankings and head into the Christmas break as the top squad in the west.

The top spot in the RSEQ is still up for grabs. The McGill Redmen hang on to the top 10 spot as they enter the break.
