Isaiah Hamilton etched his name into the record books with a monster 32-point performance in Canada’s dominant 111-73 win over Brazil at the 2025 FIBA U16 Americas Championship — the most points ever scored by a Canadian in tournament history.

Hamilton shot a blazing 11-of-20 from the field, including 5-of-8 from deep and 5-of-6 from the line. He added 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals in just 23 minutes of action.

His performance surpassed Caleb Houstan’s previous record of 29 points, set in 2019 versus the Dominican Republic.

With the win, Canada improves to 2-0 in group play and continues to look like a gold-medal contender. The Crestwood Prep product has emerged as one of the brightest young stars in the country, and his stock just keeps rising.
