2011 AUS Playoffs: Dalhousie Tigers 2011 AUS basketball champions defeat Acadia Axemen

Dalhousie Tigers 78 – Acadia Axemen 47
The Dalhousie Tigers locked up the 2011 AUS Basketball Championship with a 79-42 victory over the Acadia Axemen as both teams prepare for the 2011 CIS Basketball Final 8 at the Metro Centre. The Tigers were the fresher team jumping all over the tired Acadia Axemen who played 3 games in 3 days.

Simon Farine earned 2011 AUS Tournament MVP honors, led the charge once again, although one could make a case for Joseph Schow, who was a tremendous throughout the season but even better in the post-season as the 5th-year senior wraps up his Tigers career. This marks the second time in the last three years that the Tigers have won the AUS crown.
