Lakehead’s Jylisa Williams 50 point ties CIS Basketball record

Lakehead’s Jylisa Williams torched the Toronto Varsity Blues to break the Ontario University Association (OUA) single women’s basketball scoring record with a 50-point game.

William’s 50 point game is just the second in U Sports women’s basketball history and one point short of the all-time record set by Winnipeg’s Sandra Carroll on February 17th 1994 against the Regina Cougars
